A Corpus Christi four week Summer Activities for Youth Achieving Integrated Hearts and Minds (S.A.Y.A.I.H.) focuses on providing healthy activities in sports, arts and language skills. The soccer program is an organized group of teams, coaches, students and officials with non-competitive objectives. The soccer league lasts 12 weeks with the emphasis on teamwork, good -sportsmanship and exercise. The program is conducted with experienced personnel.
Summer Olympic Day
The Summer Olympic Day is a one-day event where youth have an opportunity to try several sports and games in a casual atmosphere. Youth are exposed to five primary sports: track, dodge ball, basketball, baseball and soccer.
Reclaiming Our Youth Summer Sports Camp
Corpus Christi summer sports camp called Reclaiming Our Youth teaches youth ages 6 through 16 basic drills and skill development as well as providing daily sessions on values and life skills. Located at the St. Gerard Center located at Evergreen and Pembroke.
Kids Investing in Simple Solutions (KISS) Leadership Program
KISS is a money management program sponsored by the Coalition and New Hope Community Development Corporation. The program targets youth ages 10-18. The 4 week program includes instruction in three areas: creating money, managing money and investing money.
With Liberty and Justice For All Program at the Henry Ford Museum
Free tickets to the Fotd Museum are available to schools, churches, families, and individuals who become first time members of NWDYC.
